About Us
The Saint Louis Jagannath Cultural and Educational Center (STLJCEC) is a nonprofit organization recognized under section 501(c)(3) and registered in Missouri, USA. It was formally founded in 2024 to serve as a cultural center for the Odiya community (individuals from the Indian state of Odisha) and the broader community of Lord Jagannath enthusiasts in the greater Saint Louis area.

What We Stand For
The Jagannath Cultural and Educational Center (JCEC) serves as a cultural center for the Indian community, promoting awareness of its rich cultural heritage through various festivities, arts and crafts, painting, dance, and music. It fosters the Jagannath culture and enhances spiritual well-being among both current and future generations...
This dynamic institution aims to present the Jagannath culture to a global audience by showcasing a wide array of Indian arts, crafts, sculptures, and intricate paintings, as well as Odissi dance, all while connecting to their historical significance.

Our Objective
Objective is to promote and galvanize the community in all aspects of the culture, pass on the tradition of brotherhood, encourage educational, social, and cultural gatherings, improve mental health and focus, promote yoga, and spread awareness of spiritual well-being among the current and future generations. We educate individuals about Jagannath mythology, organize cultural events such as the Rath Yatra festival, and offer educational programs focused on Odiya culture and philosophy.
